With a presentation of the results at the University of Applied Sciences Wiener Neustadt on January 12, 2024, the research project “Nutzen, Effekte und Risiken permanenter digitaler Verfügbarkeit [Benefits, consequences and risks of permanent digital availability] (NERD II),” in which Prof. Ortlieb participated, was successfully concluded.
Led by Dr. Karin Wegenstein (FH Wiener Neustadt), the project aimed to examine how managers, employees, and works council members can collaboratively reduce the challenges associated with flexible working hours and locations. Among other outcomes, a practical guide was developed and tested in five companies. The guide can be downloaded for free and implemented in organizations of all kinds.
