A group of students from the Kyoto University of Advanced Science (KUAS), Japan, visited Christian Hirt at the Department of Human Resource Management on March 12, 2026.
Following a brief welcome by Christa Grassauer from the Office of International Relations, Christian Hirt delivered a lecture on intercultural management as part of a joint workshop with students from the University of Graz. A shared lunch afterwards provided an excellent opportunity to further enhance intercultural exchange between students from both universities.
The Japanese delegation then visited the company Saubermacher. During a guided tour of the plastic sorting facility, the students gained valuable insights into the company’s operations. A presentation focusing on innovation and sustainability rounded off the visit.
