Univ.-Prof. Dr. Renate Ortlieb
Renate Ortlieb has been Full Professor of Human Resources and Head of the Department for Human Resource Management at the University of Graz since 2009. She studied business administration at Technische Universität Berlin (Diplom-Kauffrau, 1995) and completed her doctorate (2002) and habilitation (2009) at Freie Universität Berlin. She has worked at the Universities of Constance, Essen, Flensburg and at Freie Universität Berlin. She has held visiting positions at the University of Brighton (UK), Hasselt University (Belgium) and the University of Waterloo (Canada), among others. From 2013-2015, she was Chair of the Section Human Resource Management (WK PERS) in the German Association for BusinessResearch (VHB).
Renate Ortlieb's current research interests include labor market integration of refugees, work integration, gender and diversity in organizations, and working conditions in academe. She is co-editor of the German Journal of Human Resource Management and has published in the journals such as Organization Studies, British Journal of Industrial Relations, Organization, Academy of Management Discoveries, Journal of Organizational Behavior as well as Work, Employment and Society.
