Prof. Zijada Rahimić from the School of Economics and Business, University of Sarajevo, visited the Department of Human Resource Management from 1 to 5 June 2026.
As part of the course “Strategic and International Human Resource Management”, Prof. Rahimić participated in a discussion session and meetings with students. The visit provided an opportunity to reflect on the SIHRM study trip to the University of Sarajevo, which took place in May 2026 under the leadership of Dr. Hirt. Discussions focused on addressing open questions and fostering a deeper understanding of the complex human resource management environment in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
In addition, the visit served as a platform to review the experiences gained during the 2026 SIHRM study trip and to exchange ideas on the further development of the programme. During an internal research colloquium, existing and potential avenues for research collaboration were explored. Particular attention was given to joint research projects and funding opportunities, including initiatives supported by the Austrian Agency for Education and Internationalisation (OeAD).
Prof. Rahimić’s visit highlights the successful cooperation between the University of Sarajevo and the Department of Human Resource Management and opens up new perspectives for strengthening international collaboration in both research and teaching.
