Short Curriculum Vitae

Mag. Michael Fasching, Bakk.phil., has been a Research Assistant at the research project  INREST (Integration of Refugees in Styrian Companies) at the Department of Human Resource Management since March 2018. Also, since the beginning of 2017, he has been working at the Department for Migration and Globalization of the Danube University Krems, where he is a member of the academic staff and programme director of the Master’s programme “Intercultural Competencies”.

Since 2015, he has been a lecturer at the Danube University Krems, the FH Campus Wien, and the University College of Teacher Education Vienna in the fields of “research methods” and “diversity and gender”. Previously, he worked in advertising agencies, as a freelance journalist and as a PR consultant at the Viennese PR agency "Himmelhoch GmbH".

Michael Fasching studied Musicology at the University of Vienna (Magister 2013) and Journalism and Communication Sciences (Baccalaureate 2014). In the summer of 2013 he completed the "International Summer Academy for Journalism and PR" at the University of Liechtenstein.
